Practiso is an Advocate Office Management Application aimed at providing simple solutions to
the advocates in the management of their day to day cases, notes of cases, scheduling of cases
and other compliances related to the cases.
On a thorough research carried out in the law practicing area, we found that there are many
management difficulties that advocates are facing even in this age of modern technology. Since
management is an important aspect of any advocate’s work and looking at their difficulties in
this particular aspect, we thought of creating a tool which would ease their management work to
a great extent.
We tried to gather more information on this particular area as to what arrangement most of the
advocates use in their work. Our observations are reproduced below-

Firstly, we found that most of the advocates (usually senior advocates) had
appointed junior advocates or associate advocates to work under them and this
group of advocates commonly called themselves as ‘Chamber’.

Secondly, every chamber maintains a case-diary which keeps day to day track of
all the cases of the chamber. This case-diary acts as the core of their management
since arrangement of the case files are done according to the dates entered in the
case-diary. Regular updating of this case-diary is very important for a proper
management. We also found that updating the case-diary is a very tedious task,
the case has to be posted on the date page of the case-diary on the basis of dates
received for such case. This task gets even more tedious when the number of
cases are more in big working chambers.

Thirdly, it is important to link the case-diary with the junior advocates or
associate advocates working in the chamber so that no advocate goes to the Court
from where the date of the case has already been taken and thus saving the time of
the advocates.

We then thought of making tool which would solve all the management problems of the
advocates. A tool which can come handy to all the advocates when comes the tedious task of
updating the case-diary or even maintaining a complete case record.

Practiso makes all the tasks way simpler. Long gone shall be the days of making manual entries
in the case-diary. Gone shall be the days when advocates used to stumble upon the pages of the
diary to find the exact case, date and its notes. We bring you a new digital way to manage your
diary which would help you to update all case details easily and search for them with just one
tap.
